Checkout How To Borrow Browsing Data From MTN (Xtrabyte)

We all know last time MTN introduced Xtratime service whereby customers are allowed to borrow some certain amount of airtime that you pay back as soon as you recharge; this time MTN has introduced a similar service Xtrabyte.

Xtrabytes is a service rendered by MTN for customers to borrow some certain amount of data (Megabytes) and refund as soon as next airtime recharged is made.

How to borrow data from MTN Xtrabyte
The same way Xtratime is borrowed, dial *606#

Sometimes the Xtrabyte maybe 2 or 3 like my screenshot below my Xtrabyte is 2, if yours is 3 then reply with 3.

Then a pop up message will show you the amount of data your SIM is eligible to borrow and the amount for the service will be displayed also.

How do you see this new idea from MTN and the price tag for this service?

How to make your phone battery last longer and increase battery life

While many of us now use mobile phones instead of land-line phones in our homes, these mobile phones come with Lithium Batteries which require some maintenance as long as they are used. Method One of Three: Increasing the Time between Charges Edit 1 Turn the phone off.  Note: only do this if it's going to be for several hours; turning a phone on/off actually uses a massive amount of power itself. This will probably be the most effective and simple way of conserving your battery’s power. Why? This will help conserve energy and also charge your phone. Do the same if you are in an area with no reception (such as a subway or remote area, since constantly searching for service depletes the battery fairly quickly.) Some phones have an automatic power save feature, but it takes about 30 minutes with no service to kick in. By then, much battery power has be...

Brazil Fines Facebook $11.6m Over WhatsApp Stand-off by Rojon

A judge in Brazil on Wednesday slapped an $11.6 million fine on the local Facebook branch over the company’s refusal to surrender data from its WhatsApp messenger program to a police investigation. The order came from a judge in the northern state of Amazonas, saying Facebook was failing to meet its legal obligations. Facebook Brasil has “shown tremendous disregard for Brazilian institutions,” prosecutors added. WhatsApp has been owned by social media giant Facebook since February 2015. The long-running dispute pits Brazilian authorities’ insistence that they need access to communications between criminal suspects against Facebook’s argument that it is protecting privacy and freedom of communication. Specifics of the police investigation were not disclosed. Facebook did not immediately respond to an email seeing comment on the fine. Earlier this month, Brazilian authorities temporarily blocked WhatsApp across the country for the third time in less than a year. The repeated shu...
